Paul talks about PAX and shares a bit about his story.
Alex tells you all about PAX and what makes our system successful.
We are a group of caring, passionate, patient, and flexible people. We meet students right where they are at and work with each student based upon their needs and abilities. We do our best to guide you, not lead you. We are here to help and serve you.
This is about you, not us. We say, leading the way, but we are not the ones leading, you are. We merely accompany you on your journey to help you meet your goals, whatever they are.
We go where we are needed. We implant classes into already existing programs or in buildings where the owners are gracious enough to donate the space. We want to bring the program as close to where you are in order to remove barriers of transportation.
We select each tutor who reflects the same qualities mentioned above. They must have a passion to help and the flexibility to wait for you and to bend to your needs. We try and fill a classroom with as many tutors as we can for a ratio of three students to one tutor.
We use our own curriculum that was custom tailored to meet the requirements of the GED. We do not pretend to be more than we are. We tutor you in only what you need in order to help fill in the gaps. There is no sense in wasting time going over what you already know.
We work at your pace. In a classroom, you have to keep up with teachers, other students, and the curriculum. Not for us! It is all about you. You can work as slow or as fast as you can or want. We will not push you nor hold you back.
